July-August Update: When Paths Evolve
Hello, Beautiful Explorers!
I'm back after a 4-month gap in updates, and there's so much to share. First, you'll notice this is no longer "The Ignited Woman Project" - it's simply "The Ignited Woman Blog." This shift reflects something important I've learned about myself and how I move through the world.
The Gap: Life Happened (And That's Okay)
May began with flying to Ontario for my son's all-star football experience - an incredible, busy time that required my full presence. Coming back meant re-grounding and settling, which always takes longer than expected.
And then I took a complete left turn.
The Arbonne Chapter: An Unexpected Partnership
In late May, I joined Arbonne under someone I know personally - a woman whose mother is one of my regular massage clients. I'd been watching her journey for over a year, and when she shared something on her stories, I knew immediately: "That's my in."
Originally, I had planned to join three different network marketing companies to compare them and create content around the experience. But when she asked if I'd looked into the other companies, I had an honest moment: "Who am I kidding? I already know Arbonne is the one I want to work with."
This decision redirected my focus from world-building marketing to Arbonne - but I'm not abandoning world-building. Think of it like Disneyland partnering with an official drink company. Arbonne has become a partnership within my world, not a replacement for it.
The practical appeal was obvious: I don't have to create the products; I can focus on sharing them. And they align perfectly with nourishing the body, which fits naturally into everything I'm already about.
The Results: When Products Actually Work
In the 8 weeks I've been using Arbonne products, I'm genuinely blown away. Without changing anything else about my diet, just adding their supplements:
My metabolism kicked into gear (I can actually feel food digesting the moment it hits my stomach)
No more bloating
I've dropped 8 pounds effortlessly
My energy is consistent throughout the day
I wasn't expecting these results because I typically don't put much faith in products. I expect them to take much longer to show effects. These results shocked me - and now I definitely want to share them because I don't want to give them up.

The Vision Shift: Why I'm Done with Goals
Here's where things get interesting. Six months into pursuing that "$300 a day" goal, I realized something crucial: goals feel constricting in my body, but visions feel expansive.
When I think about a goal, my throat literally closes up. It feels like there's a buzzer about to go off, creating internal pressure and competition energy. But when I hold a vision? Everything opens up. It feels like it's unfolding exactly as it's supposed to.
I've been operating from vision this whole time without realizing it. In Human Design, I have Gate 38 as my driving force - I will fight for a vision, but I rebel against goals. A goal feels like pass/fail, win/lose. A vision feels like a work of art in progress.
So I'm switching. I still have the vision of making $300 a day online, but without the timeline pressure. Visions unfold in their own timing, like pieces of a puzzle dropping in when they're meant to.
The Permission to Be Human
I want to address something directly: the feeling I get when I don't do what I said I would do. There's this societal conditioning that says when you set a goal publicly, you must stick to it exactly or you're "flaky."
But what if we gave ourselves permission to be human? What if we acknowledged that things change and evolve? I used to think I'd be married by 20 - by 18, I was like "Hell no, I haven't even had a boyfriend!"
Paths evolve. Visions expand. Sometimes what we think we want transforms into something even better aligned.
What This Blog Is Really About
Moving forward, this won't necessarily be monthly updates. I'll share as things unfold, when there's something meaningful to process or celebrate.
What I'm really here to do is lead by example for women in transition - whether you're a 20-something starting out, a divorced woman rebuilding, a new mother, or anyone navigating change. I want to show that you don't have to have it all figured out, clean, and polished before you begin.
Sometimes you just have to let people witness the messy parts, the non-linear journey, the pivots and adjustments. When we see others giving themselves permission to be imperfect and human, it gives us permission too.
Looking Forward: Dreams Expanding
Since joining Arbonne, parts of my vision I never saw before have started opening up. I initially aimed for the top 6% (Area Manager level), then realized we might be reaching for the top 2% (Mercedes level), and now... well, apparently we're aiming for the top 1% as a 5-year commitment.
Sometimes my own vision surprises me with how it unfolds.
The world-building marketing piece isn't going anywhere - it's still at the heart of what I'm doing. I'm just finding ways to generate income more immediately while building the bigger vision.
Final Thoughts
I've learned that when something feels constricting in your body, pay attention. When your throat closes up around certain words or approaches, that's wisdom. When something feels expansive and flowing, lean into that.
This journey continues to teach me about following energy, honoring transitions, and trusting that the path will reveal itself as I walk it.
Thank you for witnessing this evolution. Here's to visions that expand and paths that surprise us.
What's your experience with goals versus visions? Have you noticed how different words feel in your body? I'd love to hear in the comments.
